What was first approached as a suspicious incident at 13th Avenue and Marion Street is now being investigated by the Denver Police Department as a homicide.

According to a tweet from the department around 10 p.m. Tuesday, one man is dead.

Several surrounding blocks were closed off by police cars around that time. A sedan parked with its hood open in the middle of Marion Street, outside the former Gypsy House Café, was at the center of the scene.

We’ll update as we learn more.
