If you’re wearing shorts today, I’ll be serving you a fiery helping of side-eye.

That’s right, we’ve begun our descent into the icy depths of winter. If it’s an option for you, please wear a coat. The National Weather Service expects a high of 40 degrees, clouds and some breeziness.

And yes, it’s still supposed to only get colder as the week goes on. There’s even a slight chance that we’ll see some snow in Denver on Friday.

Meanwhile, the storm on the mountains that started on Saturday is finally winding down. OpenSnow reports ski resorts got anywhere from 11 to 21 inches. Another, lighter storm may come at the end of this week, potentially followed by another next week, according to OpenSnow.
