Five dead in single-car crash near Parker

PARKER, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado State Patrol says five people died early Sunday in a rollover crash after the vehicle erupted in flames.

Trooper Tim Sutherland says no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

He says excessive speed may have contributed to the accident.

Sutherland says no details are available on the victims.

The accident happened about 6 a.m., east of Parker, which is about 25 miles south of Denver.
