Former Valor Christian star Christian McCaffrey announces he’s entering NFL Draft

The versatile Stanford running back, who played his high school football at Valor Christian, will forego his senior season of college to enter the NFL Draft, he announced Wednesday.

Christian McCaffrey is going pro.

The versatile Stanford running back, who played his high school football at Valor Christian, will forgo his senior season of college to enter the NFL Draft, he announced Wednesday.

McCaffrey burt onto the national scene in 2015, when he racked up an an NCAA record 3,864 all-purpose yards. He finished second in Heisman Trophy voting. This year, McCaffrey rushed for 1,596 yards, caught 38 passes for 317 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.

He figures to be a dangerous weapon for some NFL team.
