Gov. John Hickenlooper: What Donald Trump bragged about “rightfully” should put him in jail

Speaking to an audience at Hillary Clinton’s campaign headquarters in Colorado Springs, Gov. John Hickenlooper had this to say about the comments Donald Trump is dismissing as “locker room banter”:

“He was bragging about conduct that rightfully should have been putting him in jail.”

Colorado Springs’ CBS11 reported on the remarks.

Touching someone’s genitals without their consent is “unlawful sexual contact” and is a class 1 misdemeanor that can carry up to two years in jail in Colorado, though defendants who are convicted might also get a fine or probation.

I’m not positive this is the first time a Clinton surrogate has used the j-word about Trump, but a Google search of “Trump should be in jail” mostly turns up Trump saying Clinton should be in jail.

Trump campaigns in Colorado on Tuesday.
