Hancock-certified: A neighborhood gem, “Distinctive Denver” and more of the Mayor’s Design Awards

Sometimes it seems like we talk a lot about what’s ugly in Denver. The Mayor’s Design Awards are an effort to highlight the buildings that add to the “rich and unique visual fabric of our city.”

This year, 17 different buildings received awards in categories ranging from “This is home” for single-family projects, to “Sustainable Style.”

Here’s what they all look like:
