Cameron Mitchell, the midwestern restaurateur, is bringing his Marcella’s concept to Denver.

The restaurant will open the third location in the new chain in a mixed-use building in Lower Highland, according to a news release from the company. It will be part of 18th and Central, a two-building apartment community that will overlook Interstate 25 at, you guessed it, 18th and Central streets.

Mitchell expects the restaurant to open in summer 2017 with seating for about 200, including a patio.

The first two Marcella’s restaurants are in Columbus, Ohio. They have a bunch of Italian wine and authentic whatnot.

But who is Marcella? I have no idea, and I kind of appreciate that they didn’t make up a story about an Italian grandma.
