Anthony Ealy, 46, is accused of walking up and stabbing a patron at Mead Street Station, a bar and restaurant in Highland.
The charges issued today allege that Ealy “attacked a man who was sitting at a northwest Denver restaurant in the 3600 block of West 32nd Avenue, coming up from behind him and cutting his throat with a knife” on Sept. 6, according to a news release from the Denver District Attorney’s office.
A manager of a nearby restaurant told the Denver Post that the suspect had come around a few times and been ejected in recent weeks. He was a resident of an assisted living home and was a regular at Mead Street as well, ABC 7 reported.
Ealy was arrested the next day “without incident.” His bond is set at $150,000.
