A brick-and-mortar outgrowth of the Ocean to Plate seafood wholesaler and the Lobster Bliss truck is coming soon to Uptown.

Ocean to Plate’s liquor license was approved on Aug. 26, and Lobster Bliss co-owner Rich Manzo says they’re now in the permit review stage. He says they’re looking to wrap that up in a few weeks, then begin construction.

At that rate, Manzo thinks Ocean to Plate will be open at 444 E. 19th Ave. by late November or early December. The original projection was for Labor Day, but Manzo said the process is taking longer than expected.

As a wholesale seafood operation, Ocean to Plate provides sustainable seafood — like live Maine lobsters — to Denver restaurants. The Lobster Bliss truck has been making fresh seafood around Denver since May 2015. Here’s where you can find it.
