Police are investigating a bank robbery in east Denver

The Denver Police Department is searching for two male suspects in the robbery of the Compass Bank on East Colfax between Albion and Ash streets.

The Denver Police Department is searching for two male suspects in the robbery of the Compass Bank on East Colfax between Albion and Ash streets.

Doug Schepman, a Denver Police Department spokesman, said the suspects fled on foot and a search is underway in the area between Colorado Blvd. and Bellaire Street and 16th and 17th avenues.

Denver police called off the perimeter search a little after 7 p.m. Thursday without finding the suspects.
