The Rock n’ Roll Half-Marathon will close some downtown streets this weekend

It’s that time of year when people inexplicably run for a really long time around downtown. Here’s what to expect.

Saturday:

The 5K race will shut down streets around Civic Center and Capitol Hill from about 8:30 a.m. to as late as 10:45 a.m.

Sunday:

The races will cover Lower Downtown, Civic Center, Capitol Hill and also points east toward City Park. Most of the closures will happen in select hours between 6:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. However, 17th Avenue will be shut down between downtown and City Park from 6:15 a.m. through noon.
