Denver is getting another slightly upscale spot for Latin cuisine with Super Mega Bien. The new restaurant from the team at Work & Class will be housed inside the Ramble Hotel, according to a press release sent Tuesday.

The Ramble is the hotel that’s going to house the “cocktail institution” Death & Co. at 25th and Larimer streets. It’s scheduled to open sometime in the winter of 2018, so don’t get excited just yet.

Super Mega Bien will have a separate entrance from the hotel, indoor and outdoor seating and a menu featuring dishes from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Cuba and Venezuela, according to the release.

The restaurant’s doozy of a name was something one of Rodriguez’s line cooks used to say when asked how he was doing.

Super Mega Bien will be helmed by Work & Class partner Tony Maciag, general manager Tabatha Knop and executive chef and partner Dana Rodriguez.  Rodriguez is also the consulting chef at Que Bueno Suerte, which opened on Dec. 11 on South Pearl Street.
