Tacos Tequila Whiskey (better known as Pinche Tacos) will open in Governor’s Park

The popular taco joint — now technically under the name Tacos Tequila Whiskey, thanks to some controversy — will open a third Denver restaurant in the summer of next year.

The restaurant formerly known as Pinche Tacos has plans to open a new location in Governor’s Park, Eater reports.

The popular taco joint will open a third Denver restaurant in the summer of next year at 704 Sherman St., which is currently a parking lot. The existing locations of Pinche Tacos — now technically under the name Tacos Tequila Whiskey, thanks to some controversy — are at 1514 York St. (City Park) and 3300 W. 32nd Ave. (West Highland).

A rep for Tacos Tequila Whiskey told Denverite that the Governor’s Park restaurant will offer a food and beverage menu very similar to the menus at the existing locations, but will also offer a couple unique tacos and cocktails.

But before Governor’s Park gets a TTW, Eater reports, Phoenix will get one. That opening is planned for the spring of 2017.
