Things to do in Denver today, Dec. 28: Honoring Carrie Fisher, 3 Course Comedy and ‘Finding Neverland’

In honor of Carrie Fisher, Wings Over the Rockies, 7711 East Academy Blvd., will have its X-Wing out front and center for a vigil.

It will be open for anyone to stop by from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be a speaker and a candle and lightsaber tribute at 6:45 p.m.


Time for another round of 3 Course Comedy at The Deer Pile, 206 E. 13th Ave.

Adrian Mesa and Eric Henderson’s live podcast will feature Alex Creasy, Brett Hiker and Cody Spyker. The topic for this round is leftover food.

Food will be served at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. It’s all free.


It’s the last week to see “Finding Neverland” at the Buell Theatre, 1350 Curtis St.

The musical tells the story behind Peter Pan and won Broadway.com’s Audience Choice Award for Best Musical. The touring production is in town through Jan. 1.

Tonight’s performance is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30-125.
