Man charged with murder after Denver road rage incident

A 28-year-old man faces murder Friday after allegedly shooting a driver who flipped him off last week in Denver.

A 28-year-old man faces murder charges Friday after allegedly shooting a driver who flipped him off last week in Denver’s Westwood neighborhood.

David Garcia is accused of shooting 28-year-old Miguel Baray on Nov. 26 near Kentucky Avenue and Irving Street. He was being held in the Denver Detention Center on a first-degree murder charge Friday, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

After a brief dispute at a stop sign in Westwood, Baray reportedly gave Garcia the finger. Garcia responded by driving up alongside Baray and fatally shooting him, according to the DA’s Office

Garcia was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle at the time of the incident. His next court date hasn’t been set yet.
