An 8th grader in California says Colorado football offered him a scholarship

An eighth grader in Calabasas, California, tweeted Wednesday night that the University of Colorado football program offered him a scholarship.

Larry Turner, who goes by @freshboylarry3 on the social media platform, sent out a message informing his followers (and the world) the Buffaloes want to bring him aboard as apart of the class of 2021.

Turner also has an offer from the University of Nevada despite the fact that he has yet to take a snap of high school football. Colorado wouldn’t confirm or deny the offer, saying they can’t comment on recruiting.

One of Turner’s highlight videos features him returning punts for touchdowns, taking screen passes to the house and, perhaps, most importantly, riding one of those hoverboard thingies.

And to think I spent my eighth-grade days trying to think of clever AIM away messages.
