Body found in Englewood has been identified, death ruled a homicide

An investigation is ongoing.

The person found dead on Feb. 11 near South Broadway and U.S. 285 in Englewood has been identified as 33-year-old Patrick Steven Murphy.

The coroner has ruled his death a homicide.

Murphy’s body was found just after noon Saturday by someone walking along the nearby bike path.

An investigation is ongoing. Englewood police say there is no immediate danger to the public.
