Denver Broncos kicker and sometimes food blogger Brandon McManus should be back booting footballs through uprights in Denver at the start of the 2017 season. Inside linebacker Todd Davis will likely be back tackling opponents, too.

On Tuesday, the Broncos placed a second-round tender on both players, multiple reports indicated.

A second-round tender is worth $2.746 million across one year. McManus and Davis will play 2017 in Denver unless other teams are willing to give them fatter contracts and surrender a second-round pick to the Broncos prior to April 21.

McManus has spent his first three NFL seasons in Denver. He’s connected on 68 of 82 career field goals (82.9 percent). He made 29 of 34 field-goal attempts (85.3 percent) in 2016.

Davis took over for Danny Trevathan, who left for Chicago via free agency, as Denver’s starting inside linebacker in 2016. He had 64 tackles in 16 games.

McManus and Davis each made $600,000 last year. They’re both in line for healthy raises after strong 2016 seasons.
