The Broncos had a Halloween party, and Aqib Talib’s costume did not disappoint

The Denver Broncos had a Halloween party, and if linebacker Corey Nelson’s Instagram is to be believed, it was the “party of the decade.”

Now, I’m not entirely sure how to take Nelson’s message. Does he mean that it was a party where guests dressed up as characters from previous decades? Does he mean that the guests there had the most fun they’ve had since the clock turned to 2010? Both?

What I can tell you: The costumes were good. Defensive end Derek Wolfe appeared to go as an ’80s rocker. Punter Riley Dixon rocked the Aviators and a leather jacket. Nelson went as a newspaper boy from the 1920s.

Then there was cornerback Aqib Talib. Talib wore sky blue pants, a barely buttoned floral shirt, circular glasses and an afro. He pulled off the Jimi Hendrix look pretty well.

The whole thing looked like a good time.

I can’t wait to represent the ’90s next week when I dress up as “Backyard Baseball” legend Pablo Sanchez.
