Hey, remember this time last year? When we told you the Rosenberg’s Bagels people were making pizza?

Maybe you don’t  — the shop was doling out sample slices on 4/20, after all — but stick with me here. It’s been a year since Rosenberg’s owner and dough scientist Joshua Pollack announced his intention to open a pizza joint attached the 715 Club, and it’s finally here.

Building a business takes time, and it’s a process prone to setbacks. Every entrepreneur knows it, but the team behind American Bonded really knows it.

It’s been about four years since Justin Anthony, Lisa Vedovelli and Sean Kenyon decided not just to open a bar next door to Cold Crush, but to build one, and the plan has finally come to fruition.

American Bonded is now open at 2706 Larimer St.

It somehow happened that the Denver Tech Center doesn’t have a Snooze.

In 12 years of Snooze’s existence, it just didn’t get to that particular hub. But now, it’s almost ready to open up at 5073 S. Syracuse — just off Interstate 25 at Belleview Avenue.

“It’s just a great little jewel box on a corner.”

The nearly 90-year-old building that sits on the corner of Colfax Avenue and York Street has been vacant ever since Abend Gallery moved downtown in May of 2017 — windows papered over and little sign of movement.

But now, there’s movement. And actual signs about the future.
