Colorado media mogul John Malone is adding three design-focused, boutique hotels in Dublin to his vast portfolio.

The John Malone partnership consisting of Malone, property developer John Lally and former stockbroker Paul Higgins paid more than $168 million for the properties, The Irish Times reports.

The exact amount of deal was not disclosed. The hotels were on the market for a combined (€130 million) $146 million, according to the Irish news site Independent.ie.

Dublin-based Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels and its backer, London-based Patron Capital Partners, confirmed that the partnership bought the Beacon, Morgan and Spencer, the Times reports.

Earlier this year, Malone added another European asset to his collection. His company Liberty Media Corp. acquired NASCAR’s European cousin, Formula One, in a $4.4 billion deal.
