Colorado’s own Team Sobering is halfway through round-robin play at the USA Curling National Championships in Everett, Washington.

So far, they’re having a tough time.

Darryl Sobering’s crew is 1-3. They have four more games of round-robin play left, and they’ll likely need to win out to have a chance of qualifying for the semi-final round.

Team Sobering — made up of a civil engineer, real estate agent, software designer and author — came together just six months ago. You can read more about them here.

There is also a lone women’s curler from Colorado competing at the National Championships. Becca Wood of Parker is the skip of Team Wood. Her teammates are from California. Team Wood is 0-3 through three games of round-robin play.
