Denver Police investigate string of burglaries and shots fired at 15th and Blake
After reports of a robbery at 6:30 a.m. and a resident firing shots at an intruder, Denver Police rushed to a chaotic scene in the heart of downtown Denver.

After reports of a robbery at 6:30 a.m. and a resident firing shots at an intruder, Denver Police rushed to a chaotic scene in the heart of downtown Denver.
As of 10 a.m., Denver Police had an adult male suspect in custody and were investigating the crime scene at 15th and Blake with a heavy police presence.
An intruder entered three businesses and two occupied homes and was reportedly armed with a knife, according to police.
Police said they believe that the suspect broke windows at Ocean Prime at 1465 Larimer Street, 1530 Blake Street and 1510 Blake Street to gain access to the buildings.
Police say no one was injured during or after the robberies.
