Denver police investigating a homicide near Cole neighborhood

Officers responded to a call reporting gunshots in the area around 4 a.m.

Denver police are investigating a homicide early Wednesday morning at 35th and Downing streets.

Officers responded to a call reporting gunshots in the area on the edge of Cole and Five Points around 4 a.m.

There is no suspect information available as of 7 a.m., and Denver police spokesman Tyrone Campbell said the cause of death has not yet been determined.
