Denver weather forecast for today, April 27: Rain likely as a prelude to snow before the week’s out

Good morning! Grab your umbrella, your galoshes, rain coat, wetsuit, surfboard, canoe … I’m overreacting, but the point is I don’t think I’ll get on the bike today and I’m bummed about it. Anyway we’re looking at a possible thunderstorm today, according to the NWS.

You can expect to send faux-outraged screenshots of your weather app to your friends for the next couple days, because we’re not out of the woods after today. Snow is looking likely between Friday and Saturday, then Monday we might get back to the kind of spring weather people recognize from kids’ books.
