Get the boots back out.

I appreciate the frankness of the National Weather Service today.

“Snow, mainly before noon,” it says, with total calm.

This is pretty standard for spring in Colorado, but somehow no less annoying. I already put away my boots (stupidly).

Anyway, the high will be around 37 and the wind will be blowing at around 10 to 13 mph, with gusts up to 17 mph. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, so we’re probably not off the hook on this storm. Accumulation of 1 to 2 inches in possible.

Overnight, the chance of snow is around 40 percent, mainly before midnight, and the low will be around 25.

Sunday’s high of 54 is looking absolutely love right now.
