Good morning. The high in Denver today is 78 degrees and there’s a growing chance of rain. There’s a 20 percent chance of storms this morning, growing to a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, especially after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Storms over the eastern plains may become severe, while storms closer to Denver are expected to bring, at worst, brief, heavy rain, small hail and high winds.

The next few days are looking pretty similar, with temperatures in the low 80s and only slight chances of precipitation through Sunday.
