Good morning. Today’s high temperature is 87 degrees in Denver. The day should start sunny, but there’s a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Severe storms are possible on the plains east of Limon.

The chance of precipitation continues tonight and all through Thursday, which should be significantly cooler. Friday and Saturday return to sunny weather.
