I’m sure you knew last night, when the wind picked up, that the weather was changing, and here we are.

The National Weather Service calls for a high today of 40 degrees, not exactly frigid but much cooler than that lovely weekend we just had. The good news is that it will be sunny and clear.

The bad news: The wind — west northwest between 21 and 26 miles per hour — is going to stick around for most of the day before tapering off in the afternoon. Gusts could reach 37 miles per hour.

The overnight low will be around 21 degrees.

Tuesday will see a high near 45 degrees, with calm, clear conditions.
