Me: Monday should be the last somewhat chilly day before temperatures nosedive. But hey, that means we may see snow by Wednesday.

Me to you: You know I’m just waiting to complain about the winter and the coldness right?

Kermit memes aside, today should be similar to Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, it will be mostly sunny, with a high around 49 degrees. Tonight it is expected get down to 15 degrees.

On Tuesday the high will be 27 degrees, with a chance of snow. On Wednesday, that high will be just 16 degrees, again with a chance of snow, NWS reports. The storm could dump “several fluffy inches” on Denver, according to Weather5280.

In the mountains, the more-northern areas, such as Winter Park and Coper, should get the most snow. That could set up a powder day at the resorts on Wednesday, according to OpenSnow.

On Thursday we’re expecting a high of 22 degrees. Friday might be warmer.

Here’s a National Geographic slideshow of beaches to make it better. That’s all I can do for you for cold haters.
