Your Independence Day forecast is shaping up like the platonic ideal of a July day.

The National Weather Service predicts a high near 94 degrees and lots of  sun with a 10 percent chance of thunderstorms later in the day.

The overnight low should be around 63 degrees, with that chance of storms continuing into the evening.

Wednesday should be a tad hotter yet, with clear skies, and those warm temperatures continue through the week.
