Good morning. The high today is 84 degrees in Denver. Scattered showers may occur this morning, followed by a chance of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon, the National Weather Service forecasts.

Stronger storms may bring large hail, heavy rain and gusty winds, but that’s most likely on the plains east of Limon. Thunderstorms also might be more active this evening, according to NWS.

Things will dry out this week, with thunderstorm chances slowly decreasing, but a return of moisture from the southwest will again raise the chances of precipitation by Monday, NWS predicts.
