Good morning. Denver’s forecast for today, Sept. 18, is a high of 84 degrees and sunny skies. It’s pretty much identical for every day through Thursday, with minor fluctuations in temperature, according to the National Weather Service. The dry weather will result in increased fire danger.

The pattern may break on Friday as another cold front starts to bring temperatures down, according to NWS. The weekend could see highs in the 60s. The mountains are already pretty chilly — I ran into blasts of sleet while hiking near Mount Evans on Sunday.
