Dinger might be beloved by little kids, but that doesn’t mean that he’s hesitant to hit them with a well-timed elbow to the dome from time to time.

During halftime of the Broncos preseason finale Thursday, a short game took place between local mascots and youth football players. Things got a little physical.

Dinger, the Colorado Rockies purple-dinosaur mascot, received a handoff 26 yards out and took it to the house for a touchdown. Along the way, some poor kid felt Dinger’s wrath.
