The owner of Elitch Gardens plans to head to Highland next summer after building a three-story office building there.
Revesco Properties broke ground earlier this year on a spot at 2721 W. 17th St., between Williams & Graham and Postino. The real estate company anticipates wrapping up construction in August, said Rhys Duggan, president and CEO of Revesco.
“We will occupy the top floor offices,” Duggan said in an email. “We have an additional approximately 5,200 square feet total for lease on the first and second floors.”
Revesco likely will fill the extra space with others looking for office space or perhaps a retailer. The company scooped up the 3,200-square-foot lot on West 17th Street in July for $750,000, according to city records.
In 2015, Revesco bought Elitch Gardens along with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and Second City Real Estate. Duggan is the managing member of KSE Elitch Gardens/Revesco/Second City LLLP, the entity that bought the amusement park.
Revesco currently operates out of an office in University Hills that’s owned by 5291 East Yale Avenue LLC — a Denver-based company registered to Thomas Whyte, chief financial officer at Koelbel and Co.
