Former Denver Bronco Tyler Polumbus is switching teams. Polumbus announced Friday on Twitter that he’s leaving 104.3 The Fan to join 850 KOA’s Broncos broadcasting team.

“I am very excited to be joining the iHeart radio family as a member of the Denver Broncos broadcast team with Dave Logan and Rick Lewis,” Polumbus wrote.

Polumbus, a Cherry Creek High alumni and offensive lineman at the University of Colorado from 2003-07, played eight NFL seasons before retiring in 2016. He was a member of the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50.

In February, The Fan announced it hired Polumbus to co-host a show with Cecil Lammey in the 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. time slot on weekdays. Polumbus will now handle sideline reporting duties for KOA broadcasts of Broncos games, replacing Andy Lindahl in that role.

There also appear to be plans for Polumbus to get his own daily show.

“In addition, in due time, we will work out a slot for a daily radio show on the iHeart family of stations,” Polumbus wrote.

Additionally, Rick Lewis announced that he accepted a job as the color analyst on KOA’s Broncos broadcasts, which opened up when Ed McCaffrey announced he was leaving in April. Lewis will work alongside long-time play-by-play announcer Dave Logan.

“This is a dream job for me,” Lewis wrote.

The Broncos are entering their 48th season as partners with KOA.
