More than 800 breweries from around the country will make their annual migration to Denver this fall for the 36th annual Great American Beer Festival.

GABF is expected to be held Oct. 5-7 at the Convention Center. Tickets to what many call the “Superbowl” of craft beer events — where craft brewers compete head-to-head on who makes the best beer — go on sale to the public 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 on Ticketmaster.com.

Admission for each day is set at $85 and comes with unlimited 1-ounce samples of 3,800 beers, a commemorative tasting cup, access to educational and interactive seminars and entertainment including live music, games, costumes and a silent disco.

For the past two years, GABF tickets sold out in little over an hour. Roughly 60,000 people attended the event in 2016 helping GABF create a $28.6 million economic impact on the city of Denver, according to GABF.

This year GABF is adding more Meet the Brewer Booths with more than 150 breweries participating and expanding the Brewpub Pavilion with a record 48 breweries from each region pouring in the center of the festival hall.
