Our Mile High High Coffee Quest is down to four coffee shops — four caffeine slingers Denverites can’t live without.

Because you love them so dearly, we decided to take some time to get to know them a little better.

Your contender in central Denver: Crema Coffee House.

Where: 2862 Larimer St., Five Points

Who: Owned by Noah Price

What and Why: When Crema first opened in 2009, the little coffee shop was an oasis in an area of Five Points far less dense with businesses than it is now. But over the years, that strip of Larimer Street has exploded with bars, breweries and other businesses, including Denver Central Market, which houses Crema outpost Crema Bodega.

Crema has grown with the neighborhood, both in size and scope. About six years ago, Price brought in chef Jonathan Power to build what has remained a solid food menu (and the pair opened a restaurant, Populist, down the street).
