One dead, one injured in shooting near Denver’s City Park

Two men were shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition. One has since died.

Denver police are investigating a double shooting at 29th Avenue and York Street as a homicide.

The incident happened at around 1 a.m. Saturday, about three blocks north of City Park in the Skyland neighborhood. Two men were shot and taken to the hospital in critical condition. One has since died.

Police had not released any suspect information as of 10 a.m. Saturday.
