Ratio Beerworks plans to “re-re-re open” its taproom in RiNo on Saturday after clearing up an issue with its sales room license.

After a week and a half of working with the city of Denver and state of Colorado, Ratio Beerworks said Friday it was granted permission to re-open in full. The brewery plans to celebrate with a special ribbon cutting ceremony noon Saturday.

To help Ratio as it sorted out “a missing application/checked box” on its original 2014 liquor license application, the RiNo Art District started buying and taking donations for Ratio beer Sunday. The nonprofit ended its “kind of a RiNo tap takeover of Ratio” on Tuesday after learning the brewery could reopen sooner than expected.

“We were blown away by the overwhelming community response in offering to lend a hand during our temporary setbacks,” Ratio co-founder Scott Kaplan in a statement. “We are truly lucky to be part of such a generous community, and to be surrounded by so many supportive friends, family, and neighbors.”

A call to Ratio Beerworks co-owner, Jason zumBrunnen, was not immediately returned Thursday afternoon. Last week, Ratio Beerworks told customers via Facebook that it voluntarily closed its taproom after discovering the issue with its application.
