Heads up if you need to travel from the south metro area to Denver today: a portion of the C and D light-rail lines will be closed for 12 hours.

RTD is temporarily shutting down a section where the two lines run the same route, from Englewood Station to the I-25 & Broadway Station, for wire repairs from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The C Line runs from the Littleton-Mineral Station to Union Station. The D Line runs from Littleton-Mineral to 30th & Downing Station.

Shuttle services will be provided at the affected stations, which include Englewood, Evans and I-25 & Broadway. Expect delays and give yourself extra time to get where you’re going.
