Von Miller and the Broncos defense looked dominant in a win over the Colts. But other things happened, too. There were injuries, the continuation of a protest and more. Here’s what the internet is saying about those things.

DeMarcus Ware suffers forearm fracture vs. Colts (DP)

Ware went back to the locker room in the third quarter, and now we know why. It’s unclear if he’ll miss time with the injury. Derek Wolfe doesn’t think so, for what it’s worth.

Brandon Marshall kneels again for national anthem against Colts (DP)

Yep, the Broncos’ linebacker once again went down on one knee. Marshall is protesting social injustice and police brutality. He met with Denver Police Chief Robert White last week, and he’s pledged to give $300 to several organizations this season to bring about positive change.

Broncos offense gets bailed out again (MHR)

Scoring only one offensive touchdown isn’t going to translate to winning games most weeks. But this wasn’t most weeks!

Virgil Green is getting an MRI on his calf (7)

The Broncos’ tight end had a nice game: three catches for 46 yards. He seems to have developed nice chemistry with Trevor Siemian. Hopefully he’s OK.
