Dolly Parton is at Red Rocks tonight. Do you really need to ask us what to do?

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $49.50 to $129.50 and she’s Dolly Freaking Parton.

OK, fine, maybe Dolly Parton isn’t your thing. Or maybe you can’t make the trip to Red Rocks tonight. How about a more local show, instead?

The final installment of the Summer on the Plaza concert series at 1801 California St. is happening tonight.

Head over right after work to catch Strange Americans rock the plaza from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

You can also take advantage of happy hour specials on the nearby Guard and Grace patio, which has a view of the stage, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

July is Fresh Fruit Cask Month at Copper Kettle Brewing Company, 1338 S. Valentia St., which means they’re tapping some extra-summery beers.

Today, drop by from 2 to 10 p.m. to try the Peach Cranberry Belgian Table Beer, which the brewery describes as “a light bodied, slightly malty ale with hints of peach and cranberry and garnished with fresh fruit.”

It’s not a particularly strong beer — it’s 4.4 percent ABV — but you should plan on eating anyway. Saj Mediterranean Grill will be on site dishing out grub.
