The Denver folk mainstays will be celebrating the release of their self-titled record from 6 to 7 p.m. Pre-order the album from Twist & Shout and you’ll get a wristband that guarantees first entry for the show and a spot in the autograph line.
Queen City Hip Hop and Young Amsterdam are bringing 10 local artists to the stage at the Bluebird Theater, 3317 E Colfax Ave., for a taped performance.
The show is 16 and up. Doors are at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20.
The Museum of Nature and Science and the Nature Conservancy present a screening of “National Parks Adventure 3D” in the museum’s IMAX theater (2001 Colorado Blvd.) from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
This film follows climber Conrad Anker through places like the Great Sand Dunes. Chris Pague from the Nature Conservancy and Fred Bunch from the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve will discuss their work to protect and manage the land.
Tickets are $15.
From 7 to 9 p.m., celebrate the one-year anniversary of Denver Vegan Drinks at Finn’s Manor, 2927 Larimer St.
The social networking group welcomes anyone interested in animal rights, veganism and perhaps some alcoholic beverages. They’ll have a table set up outside and the food trucks at Finn’s Manor offer vegan options.
