Things to do in Denver today, July 12: “2001: A Space Odyssey,” a Ratio Comedy table read and “La La Land” with the symphony

The Denver Film Society’s Sci-Fi Film Series is showing “2001: A Space Odyssey” tonight at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.

The Denver Film Society’s Sci-Fi Film Series is showing “2001: A Space Odyssey” tonight at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, 2001 Colorado Blvd.

They’ll roll the film on the Kubrick classic at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12-15.


At Ratio Beerworks, 2920 Larimer St., a crew of Denver comedians, musicians and others will put on a table read with scripts from “Married With Children.”

It’s free and starts at 8 p.m.


And there are still some tickets left to see “La La Land” with the Colorado Symphony providing the soundtrack. The remaining tickets are $51-89, and the show is at the Boettcher Concert Hall, 1000 14th St.
