This week in the Denver Film Society’s Sci-Fi Film Series at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (2001 Colorado Blvd.): “The Lobster.”
Museum scientist Steve Nash, PhD Anthropology, and Vincent Piturro, PhD, associate professor of film and media studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver, will be there to discuss the science and separate fact from fiction.
It starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $12-15.
The Mixed Taste series continues tonight at the Seawell Ballroom, 1350 Arapahoe St.
At each “tag team lecture,” two speakers will take 20 minutes each on seemingly unrelated subjects. When they’re done, an audience Q&A will help connect the topics.
Tonight’s topics are telekinesis and sauerkraut, with speakers Professor Phelyx & Mara and Willow King.
