Tonight at Ratio Beerworks, 2920 Larimer St., a cast of local comedians, musicians, actors and more will do table reads of scripts from favorite movies and TV shows.

Here’s your cast:

Adrian Mesa (Comedian: Comedy Works, Those Who Can’t)
Timmi Lasley (Comedian, Actress)
Ned Garthe (of Ned Garthe Explosion)
Cody Devine (LLL & Primos Wrestling Champ)
Katie Bowmann (Comedian, Improvisor)
Karen Wachtel (High Plains Comedy Festival)

It’s free and it starts at 8 p.m. Arrive early to grab a beer and grab a seat.

Today’s classic film feature at the Esquire Theatre, 590 S. Broadway, is Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” — an account of racial tensions reaching a breaking point on a summer afternoon in a Brooklyn neighborhood.

Showings are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and tickets are $8.50.

Drop by Mutiny Information Café, 2 S. Broadway, for a recording of the Mutiny Comics podcast from 8-10 p.m.

Hosts R. Alan Brooks and Jordan Froelich will be talking with Karl Christian Krumpholtz and Alex Graham about their comics, the idea of using comics to tell stories that don’t involve super-heroes, and how they got into comics.

And Test Kitchen is back again tonight with 11 up-and-coming artists testing themselves in front of an audience and guest A&Rs Sur Ellz and R. Ford.

Doors at The Black Box, 314 E. 13th Ave., are at 9 p.m. and cover is $5.
