Raconteur Denver is back this month to talk about failure. And not just your run-of-the-mill failures — your spectacular failures.
The featured storytellers are Gifty Amponsem, Erica Prather and Jessica Robblee. As usual, audience members will be invited up to the mic to tell their own stories, too.
It’s happening from 7 to 9 p.m. downstairs at The Lobby, 2191 Arapahoe St. Sign up to before the show; anyone who wants to tell a story should have it memorized.
Tonight at the History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Ignite Nite will explore the topic of bison — Colorado’s historic bison drives, bison stew, the bison as an icon and more — through performances, conversation, cooking demonstrations, crafts and exhibition tours.
The programs includes food and a cash bar, and last from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are free for members, $10 for seniors and $12 general admission.
The Walnut Room, 3131 Walnut St., is hosting another one of its beer dinners tonight at 7:30.
Beverages and knowledge will be provided by New Terrain Brewing Co. The menu includes four beer tasters and four appetizer pairings.
