The weather has been persistently crappy in a way that’s very un-Denver-like, and Adrift (218 S. Broadway) is offering an escape.
The restaurant is hosting an End of Summer Luau with an all-you-can-eat buffet from 6 to 9 p.m. It’ll include Kona Kahlua pork, “Huli-Huli” chicken and traditional Hawaiian side dishes with vegetarian options available upon request. Of course, there will be tropical cocktails as well.
At The Deer Pile, 206 E. 13th Ave., 3 Course Comedy is at it again. This time, the theme is Irish food.
Tonight’s comics are Anthony Siraguse, Joe Gray and Nolawee Mengist. As always, food is served at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m.
If beer and cheese is more your speed this evening, stop by Strange Craft Brewing Co., 1330 Zuni St., Unit M, anytime from 6 to 8 p.m.
They’ll have five unusual, domestic cheeses from Truffle Cheese Shop paired with five beers they’re taking to Great American Beer Festival. It all costs $25.
Got student loan debt? There’s a party for that.
Blanc, 3150 Walnut St., is hosting a Debt Opens Doors event with SoFi from 7 to 9:30 p.m. They’ll have drinks, music and giveaways for things like ski passes and rafting trips.
All you have to do to get in for free is bring an email, screenshot or a paper statement showing your student loan balance.
And Hundred Waters is playing over at the Larimer Lounge, 2721 Larimer St.
They’re in town with Lafawndah, who starts things off at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $18.
