Today’s Denvergram

“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.” ~ #JaneJacobs :: We took a group of community leaders, local residents, and city influencers on an informative and grounding walk along #Denver's Alameda Ave. The purpose of the walk was to bring the tension of places built for cars and for speed into the body and the senses ~ the noise, the pollution, the barriers, the distance between safe crossings, and so much more. It was also a time for human connection, admiring local art and being more in step with what can be gained if we all walked more. :: In partnership with @walkdenver. :: Check out www.walk2connect.com/iwalkdenver to learn more! :: #lifeat3mph #colorado #getoutside #walkability #health #community #alameda #denvergram #denverite #walking #walkmore #accessibility #safety #coloradolife #coloradogram #iwalkdenver #whyiwalk2connect #walk2connect #urbanplanning #civilengineering #5280 #milehighcity @dnvrite
